Dan Sudakin, MD, MPH
Medical Director, Aspire PDX
Originally hailing from Detroit, I went to college at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After receiving my medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, I completed a medical residency in Preventive Medicine and a fellowship in Medical Toxicology at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). I am board certified in Addiction Medicine, Medical Toxicology, and Preventive Medicine. I am also a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
I’ve been a physician for over 30 years, and practicing addiction medicine has been the most rewarding experience of my professional career. I’m a strong believer in medication-assisted treatment, mindfulness, and tapping the power of the human spirit to help patients achieve their goals of lifelong recovery. When I’m not at my office, you can find me trail running, hiking, and having adventures with my family.
